Know every time AI names you. And every time it hands your buyer to a competitor.
AI answers change week to week, engine to engine, and nobody sends you a notification when you fall out of one. We run the prompts your buyers actually type, across all six engines, and report exactly where you stand. No dashboard to babysit. One plain-English report.
AI visibility tracking monitors the prompts your buyers type into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and Google AI Overviews, and records which brands each engine names, what it says about them, and which sources it cites. You see your share of voice, who is winning each answer, and how it moves week to week.
Why track AI answers at all?
Because they are not stable and they are not uniform. The same question gets different answers on different engines, on different days, for different users. Only about 11% of the sources ChatGPT cites also show up in Perplexity. So 'we checked ChatGPT once and we're in it' is not visibility. It is a snapshot of one engine on one afternoon.
Tracking turns that noise into a number you can manage: your share of voice. How often you are named, across which engines, for which buying questions, versus which competitors. Once you can see the number, you can move it. And when you invest in moving it, tracking is how you know the work is working.
What we track, exactly
We start by mapping the prompts that matter: the questions a buyer with budget asks minutes before choosing. Not vanity prompts, buying prompts. Then, on a fixed cadence:
- 01 Mentions: which engines name you, for which prompts, and in what position
- 02 Competitors: who gets named when you don't, and what the engine says about them
- 03 Sentiment: how each engine describes you when it does name you
- 04 Sources: which pages and third-party sites the answers cite, so we know what is driving them
- 05 Movement: what changed since last report, and what likely caused it
How reporting works
One report, monthly on the Growth plan, in plain English. Where you stand, what moved, why we think it moved, and what we are shipping next. You see the same data we do. If a number goes down, you will read that too. Tracking you cannot trust is worse than no tracking at all.
What you get
- A prompt map built from your buyers' real questions
- Share-of-voice tracking across all six major engines
- Competitor and sentiment monitoring on every prompt
- The cited sources behind each answer, mapped
- One plain-English report, every month
AI Visibility Tracking: FAQ
- How do you track what ChatGPT says about a brand?
- We run a fixed set of buying prompts against each engine on a regular cadence and record the answers: which brands are named, in what order, with what description, citing which sources. Repeating the same prompts over time is what makes the data comparable and the trend real.
- What is AI share of voice?
- It is the percentage of relevant AI answers that name your brand. If buyers ask ten buying questions in your category and you appear in three answers, your share of voice is 30%. It is the AI-era version of a search ranking, except there are only two or three slots per answer.
- Can't I just check ChatGPT myself?
- You can, and you should, but one manual check tells you almost nothing. Answers vary by engine, day, and phrasing, and your own chat history colors what you see. Useful tracking means the same prompts, every engine, on a schedule, with the results recorded. That is a process, not a spot check.
- Do you track Google AI Overviews too?
- Yes. All six engines that move the needle: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and Google AI Overviews. They cite meaningfully different sources, so we treat each one as its own battleground.
- Is tracking available on its own, without the rest?
- Yes. Some clients start with tracking only, watch the numbers for a month, then hand us the influence work once they see exactly where they are losing. It is a sensible way in.
Find out your share of voice. Then watch it climb.
