So the content that gets pulled into answers shares a shape: it leads with the answer, uses real questions as headings, puts facts in lists and tables, and keeps sentences short. That is what this checker scores.
How to read your score
Each check maps to something models reward. A direct answer near the top, question-style structure, lists or tables, short sentences, and enough depth without padding. Fix the items marked Fix first, they are the ones most likely to keep your page out of an answer. This is the on-page half of AEO, also called AI SEO.

- How do I make my content more quotable?
- Lead each section with the answer, then support it. Turn headings into the questions buyers actually ask. Move comparisons and specifics into tables. Cut long intros and long sentences. If a model can lift one clean sentence that makes your case, you are quotable.
- Does answer-ready content guarantee AI will cite me?

- What is a good answer block?
- A short, direct answer of roughly 40 to 60 words placed near the top of a page or section, written so it stands on its own. It answers the exact question in the heading before any setup, which is precisely the passage models like to quote.
- How long should AEO content be?
- Long enough to answer the question well and no longer. Depth helps, but padding hurts quotability. As a rough guide, most useful pages land between 300 and 2,000 words, with the key answer up top and the detail below.
